This is a real turtle shell that has been mounted on a walnut plaque. It is in very good condition with some surface scratches. This is a common tutle and not part of an endangered species. The shell itself is 12" long and 10.5" wide; the entire plaque weighs 3 lbs and is 16" x 13" and has a chain to hang it on a wall. The shell is extremely nice with good texture, depth and ranging brown.
